Jo-Anne Jones, RDH

As an international award-winning speaker, Jo-Anne Jones has given over 1,000 presentations worldwide. She brings life, energy, and inspiration to her presentations. Jo-Anne joins the 2024 Dentistry Today CE Leaders for the 14 th consecutive year, is a previous DPR Top 25 Women in Dentistry honoree and is a 2021 Fellowship Award recipient with the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics. As a passionate advocate for oral health, Jo-Anne’s genuine passion shines through in her enthusiastic approach to education and knowledge translation facilitating true change on Monday morning.

Jo-Anne proudly partners with the Oral Cancer Foundation in conveying the urgent need for change in the way we screen for oral and oropharyngeal cancer. She was instrumental in launching the international “Check Your Mouth” campaign promoting oral self-examination between professional visits.

Angie Wallace, RDH

Angie Wallace, RDH has been a clinical hygienist for over 35 years. She is an active member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), where she obtained her Advanced Level Proficiency. Angie currently serves as Chair for the Education Committee with the Academy of Laser Dentistry and serves on the Regulatory Affairs (Working with States on Dental Hygiene Laser use) as well as on the Auxiliary committee for the ALD Board of Directors. In 2023 Angie has been awarded the ALD Educator of the Year Award. Angie is an International Speaker and has published a book about dental hygiene and lasers.
